As I waited for my suitcase at the baggage carousel at Dublin Airport this morning, I pondered the meaning of this advertisement for a few seconds.  Why one earth is Thierry unwelcome in Ireland?

And then it hit me.  Ireland recently played France in the final round of the Football World Cup qualifiers.  Whoever won the game would progress to the Football World Cup in South Africa next year.  Whoever lost the game was out.  France ended up winning but only because one of their players, Thierry Henry, handballed the ball to a team-mate who then scored.  Cheaters!

I want my Tumblr site to link to Twitter so I get the recent tweets box over to the right, but don’t want tweets to publish in Tumblr, or Tumblr to publish my post as tweets. Is this possible? Or maybe it just happens for certain posts? Still investingating….

UPDATE - ok, when I post manually (or reblog) from Tumblr, I get the option. When I used the Tumblr bookmarklet thing, I can’t find the option to switch it off… hmmm..

and of course the most surprising thing is that this wasn’t as he was leaving a nightclub wasted…..
